My name is Pamela Diaz Rodriguez,
I am a bilingual counselor who strives to provide counseling to the various communities that I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of over the course of my life. Over the years I’ve held different titles that I consider important to my therapeutic approach: Woman, Mexican, Immigrant, Veteran, Wife, Mother, and Advocate. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Liberty. Currently, I am licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate (LCMHC-A) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Association (LCAS-A). In addition, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various mental health services, such as case management, crisis intervention, consultation, etc. Through my time as an active-duty service member in the United States Army, I became aware of and personally experienced the various challenges, struggles, and hardships that military families undergo as a family unit. Therefore, my therapeutic approach allows me to be multi-faceted and work with a variety of individuals from different walks of life. I strive to provide a diverse and uniquely tailored counseling experience to each individual established through a therapeutic relationship.
